| Seminar Overview
This workshop, in collaboration with the New Hampshire Technical College, focuses on the topics of fermentation, cell culture, separations and purification. It is designed to explain why and how bioprocessing is able to produce complex protein products starting from simple microorganisms and cells. The course is presented in practical terms and includes many examples that illustrate the basic principles. This is a “hands-on” workshop, with a balanced mix of lecture and laboratory practice where participants can learn the actual handling of bioprocessing equipment representative of manufacturing conditions. Class size is limited to maximize lab participant interaction with the instructor.
Now included with each registration - a CHO-tPA Core Production System textbook! This is the first publication of the Northeast Biomanufacturing Center written by Dr. Sonia Wallman and Deb Audino.
